Momiji-ya Annex Kawa-no-Iori

Enjoy the beauty of the four seasons to your heart's content: Cherry blossoms in spring, color changing leaves in fall, an expansive silver forest in winter, and the dancing of Japanese fireflies over the Kiyotaki River in summer. 30 minutes' drive from Kyoto Station. Takao is called Kyoto's inner parlor. This peaceful, old ryokan (Japanese-style hotel) is located across its own suspension bridge. This ryokan offers plans without dinner, but asks guests to be aware that because of its remote location deep in the mountains, there are no restaurants in the surrounding area. The ryokan can later accept separate requests for meals; however initially booking the plan including breakfast and dinner is recommended as it is a better value.
